Items purchased from SurfMaui.com may ship from multiple warehouse locations, however most items are shipped from Hawaii.

Most packages that ship from SurfMaui.com have an identification number that is called a Tracking Number. Once your order has shipped, we will email the Tracking Number and a link to the web address where the parcel can be tracked.

Shipping costs for Surf Boards, Kiteboards, Windsurf & Standup Paddle Boards are not displayed in the Shopping Cart or Checkout. Surf Boards, Kiteboards, Windsurf & Standup Paddle Boards are shipped via FedEx, UPS or common carrier. Surf Boards, Kiteboards, Windsurf & Standup Paddle Boards can only be shipped to a physical street address, not to a PO Boxes. Please review the Domestic Shipping Rate below for more detailed information.

Orders are shipped the same day or within 24 hours. Ground service from Hawaii, takes 4-10 business days. Ground orders sent to PO Boxes are sent parcel post and can take 3-8 weeks. Air orders placed by 10:00 am will ship the same day and take 2 business days after date shipped. Air orders going to PO Boxes, may take several days longer. If your order must arrive by a specific date, please call or email us. All Ground/Surface orders also take an additional day since they are shipped from Hawaii. Ground orders received by 12:00 noon (Hawaiian Time) will ship the same day or within 24 hours. Air orders placed by 10:00 am (Hawaiian Time) will ship the same day. Air orders placed after 10:00 am will ship the following working day. If your order must arrive on by a specific date, please call or email us.

We offer two levels of shipping service for Domestic Parcels: Ground & Air. Ground service ranges $8.00 - $20.00 based on order total. For air shipping add $12.00 to ground.

 

 

Canadian & US Territory Shipping Rates

Canadian and US Territory orders will within 1-2 business days. If your order must arrive by a specific date, please call or email us. If there are backordered items, the order will be held and shipped when all backordered items are in stock, unless other arrangements are made with us. You will be notified of any backordered items. Custom duties, tariffs and/or import taxes are not included in the order total and are the responsibility of the party placing the order.

All Canadian and US Territory orders must meet the following requirements to be processed.

1. Orders placed with a credit card will be shipped to the billing address only unfortunately no exceptions can be made.
2. The card holder must:

We offer Air Delivery for International Orders. See chart below for costs, delivery times and additional restrictions.

Recipients are responsible for paying duties and taxes on international orders.

Surf Boards, Kiteboards, Windsurf & Standup Paddle Boards have an additional shipping cost, which may not be included in the shopping cart order and/or shipping totals. We will email you the order total. Exact shipping costs are charged on Surf Boards, Kiteboards, Windsurf & Standup Paddle Boards shipping to International destinations. This shipping costs will be confirmed by email prior to processing your order.

Our shipping providers will not insure shipments to some countries. If you request delivery to one of these countries, you must agree in writing to waive HI Tech Surf Sports, from all responsibility for a lost or damaged parcel before we can ship the merchandise.

At SurfMaui.com, we do our best in providing you with the best possible products and services. Should you experience any problems, we'll do our best to satisfy you.

If you are not satisfied with items purchased from SurfMaui.com, they can be returned for an exchange or refund, but only in brand new, unused condition. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. With this in mind, you must give consideration in selecting products that are suitable for your needs. If you would like assistance in choosing products, please call us. We do our best to provide you with accurate information and assist you with your purchases.

We guarantee all new products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 30 days from date of purchase. Pre-Owned equipment items are sold as is without any warranty.

Returns & Exchanges

New products returned for exchange or refund must be in their original packaging with all materials, unused warranty cards, instruction booklets and be accompanied by the receipt not more than 30 days from the date of purchase. Pre Owned equipment may be inspected upon receipt for satisfaction. Pre Owned items may be returned with in one week if they do not meet your satisfaction. Neoprene, Lycra and swimming suits products are not eligible for 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee. Prior to returning an item call to obtain a Return Authorization Number and our return shipping address.

After obtaining the Return Authorization Number, please package the item(s) securely in their original or smaller size carton and enclose a copy of the invoice. You must prepay return shipping and for your own protection, be sure to insure the item you are returning. If however, there was a mistake on our part, you will be reimbursed for the cost of return shipping via USPS Priority Mail or FedEx Ground provided a receipt is furnished and the items are shipped in the original or smaller packaging. We are unable to reimburse return shipping costs for items returned by Mail Boxes Etc or other similar packaging services.

Warranty & Repairs

In an extreme sport, damage to gear is not unheard of. Damage can occur as the result of normal wear and tear from very extreme forces placed on gear. In addition, product longevity is decreased or compromised by impact/contact on water or ground and also exposure to salt water and sun. The best way to minimize these factors is through proper care/cleaning of gear after each use, minimizing sun exposure and learning proper technique to keep you and your gear from getting thrashed.

In order for a warranty claim to be considered, there must be a visible defect in the workmanship or material that can be demonstrated. Unfortunately, warranty determination cannot be made over the phone. SurfMaui.com will repair or replace defective products and/or parts, or offer a refund at our discretion. Damage due to normal wear and tear will be repaired at a reasonable charge. Contact us with questions.

 

Damaged Items

Damages are unlikely. We do our best to ensure the safe delivery of merchandise purchased from us. It's the customer's responsibility to file claims directly with the shipper. If you notice any visual damage to a parcel we recommend inspecting the contents immediately to ensure they have arrived undamaged. Have the shipper document that the box arrived damaged. If the damaged item is noticed after delivery, contact the shipper at once: FedEx at 800.463.3339, UPS at 800.742.5877 or US Postal Service at 800.275.8777. Often the shipper will want to inspect the box and packaging materials, so be sure to retain everything until instructed otherwise by the shipper.
